french Building

The French Building, completed in 1997,  was made possible by an endowment to the Cimarron County Historical Society and named for the museum's major benefactor,  Charles C. French.   Mr. French graduated from Boise City and served during WWII.  This building serves as the main museum building at the Cimarron Heritage Center.

In this building you will find numerous exhibits and artifacts including Military, Paleontology (including hands on for children), General Store, Dust Bowl , Jack Hoxie area,  Folker & Photography, Ranching, and Records & Newspapers just to name a few.

Come visit!  We are sure you will be amazed at the items and detail the French Building contains !
